“A journey does not begin the moment we leave, nor does it end the moment we reach the destination.”

Ryszard Kapuscinski

Since his university days, being a criminal lawyer has been his driving purpose.

He acknowledges that throughout his career, he has had the good fortune to meet professionals and people from all walks of life, who through their considerable depth of character and knowledge, have guided and mentored him.  From them, he learned the core principles he holds true both personally and professionally.
During his time at the firm of Saponara and Nardo, first as a trainee, and then as a fully qualified lawyer, he received training and developed the skills that led him to personally deal with a series of complex cases – both in terms of their legal ramifications and the human condition of the persons involved.

Through daily consulting, he became increasingly more passionate about his work, and was able to complement the development of his technical skills with a refined understanding of how to dissect a case, to look at it from various viewpoints – to look well beyond surface impressions, to dig deeper for options and solutions.

Maturing these analytical tools of logic and observation helped him to recognize his natural propensities and fuelled his enthusiasm for following the path of specialization that led him to where we find him today.

In 2004, with colleagues Andrea Antonelli and Cesare Corti Galeazzi, he founded Studio ACRlex, to focus on classical criminal matters, with particular regard to the fields of corporate, tax and bankruptcy issues.

Over the next 15 years the firm grew, steadily acquiring and establishing solid client/lawyer relationships with both Italian and international companies. This period was significant in quantitative terms, but first and foremost its importance should be measured in terms of quality.

In 2016, after the completion of a two-year course governed by Union of Criminal Chambers, he obtained his certification as a criminal lawyer.

His experience with ACRlex was fundamental to his professional journey. In 2021, he was inspired to take another leap, via the creation a new firm established on the foundations set down by ACRlex, It was a natural evolution, an expansion of his activities in the specialization he has cultivated. Working with dedicated harmony and cohesion to the tenets of respect for the rules and fair play he has turned his focus to the expanding horizons of corporate needs.

The result: Rodontini & Associates, a team composed predominantly of criminal lawyers who deliver the signature characteristics of competence, modernity and efficiency.

This specialization has worked hand in hand with the growing need for companies to adapt to new legislation. As institutional administrative responsibility has been targeted, the subsequent need for compliance requires companies to set up checks and balances, such as internal investigations and whistleblowing. Working on these models is one of the new firm’s prime focuses.

The variety of needs arising from the introduction of data protection and privacy laws (GDPR) and the evolution of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations has resulted in a quest for anti-money laundering and anti-corruption solutions at a European level. No matter whether the scale of a company’s operations are small, medium or large, whether it is Italian owned or an international company operating in Italy, it has be extremely sensitive to these regulations on criminal issues and take every precaution.

He belongs to AODV231,  an association of “Organismi di Vigilanza” members (231 Supervisory Bodies).

The experience he acquired has led to his accreditation as a Partner 24 Ore, an innovative project from the Sole 24 Ore an exclusive network of highly qualified professionals, on the subject of Compliance – Compliance and organizational models based on, Criminal Law – Cybercrime, Criminal Law- Financial and Tax Crimes and Money Laundering .

There is great scope for work in preventing the risk of being involved in criminal issues and proceedings that constitute potential major production and economic setbacks for companies.
It is precisely the existence of this scope that has led him, with his team, to assist the virtuous company in the contrast of that risk.
